Adidas Is Winning Me Over

I guess I should start off by confessing that I should attribute any athleticism I have to my love of a good outfit.  Over the years I have taken up running, road biking, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, surfing, tennis, and volleyball to name a few, and if I’m honest I like the gear more than the sport.  There is something about the mix of technology and garments that gets me going.  I was hooked from the first time I got a decent Gore-Tex ski jacket.  Clothing that makes you impervious to the elements; faster, sleeker, more comfortable and of course looks generally badass.  I admit some of the looks for technical apparel over the years has been questionable, but they at the very least made you feel like a badass in your compression tights with silver anti microbial fibers.

Of course, the cornerstone to any good outfit is shoes, athletic or otherwise.  I have been an avid Nike customer for the last two decades, and I am sad to say I have’t ventured out much.  Nike has put out amazing designs and innovation that won them the top spot in the sneaker market, edging out Adidas, but times are changing.  In 2013 Adidas launched their revolutionary Ultraboost cushioning technology.  It took me 4 years to venture out and give it a try, but they truly live up to the hype.  I purchased the new Adidas Ultraboost Laceless shoes, and was blown away by the styling, quality, comfort and performance.  Every step is pleasantly propelled into the next with a soft bounce that manages to maintain stability and support.

After wearing the Ultraboost Laceless for about a week, I purchased the EQT Support 93/17, and I basically haven’t been able to bring myself to wear any other shoes that don’t have Ultraboost.  My wife finds this annoying, but they’re so comfy! The EQTs use the same Ultraboost technology but with a wider and more supportive sole.  I am not sure which I like better, but I do know that I’m excited for the new innovations Adidas is bringing to the sneaker market.  I can’t wait to get my hands on the upcoming Adidas Futurecraft 4D!  If you’re a fan of comfortable, stylish athleisure shoes, then I challenge you to try these. You won’t be sorry you did!

These are pretty crazy lookin’! You literally haven’t taken them off in three days, so maybe I should try them out after all.
